Modern Day Leadership Development for Teens

What is it?

Originally developed for the college aged student, the Torch Academy is an invaluable learning tool comprised of two weekend workshops and an additional 60 days of personal success coaching. Found throughout the world, from Hong Kong to California; we now present this opportunity here on the East coast, at the Beautiful Jersey Shore!

Why?

The answer is Why Not. With over 100 hours of workshop and personal success coaching, this opportunity will only strengthen your sons and daughters resolve to become a leader and make decisions to enhance their lives. Teens everywhere are exposed to more pressures and challenges than ever before. Watching parents struggle and divorce over money, feeling pressure to excel in sports, school, whatever they do their lives are filled with expectations to achieve!

So many Teens feel hopeless; they have no goals or aspirations. Many fear going to school, terrorism, being judged, and embarrassment. So many Teens don’t even want to try to stand out and be successful for fear of being ridiculed or rejected.

Just recently on PBS, Steve Adubato, PhD, interviewed Seton Hall University Admissions Director Robert Herr. According to Robert Herr, one of the top qualities that draws the University to a student is how that student stands out in terms of leadership, actions, and responsibilities in the activities they are involved with. Today’s pressures in relation to academics, athletics, social, sexual, alcohol /drugs and career decisions makes the Torch Academy Program an obvious choice. Torch is built to teach and train your sons and daughters on how to make confident, mature, life based decisions as leaders and not conformists who bow to today’s immense peer pressure.

Participation in the Torch Academy will increase and improve their problem solving skills while increasing their confidence. They will learn to work independently but also the value of being able to work in a team setting. As they enhance their communication skills, they will develop mature social skills as well. Your sons and daughters will be taught self directed motivation and the value and importance of time management and organization. As a leader, peer pressure is diminished.

Upon graduation, the opportunity to continue participation in the “Leader Circle”, gives the student a chance to give back what they have “learned and earned” and truly live as a leader.
